About This Staff Role:
HTS has an exciting opportunity for a Development Data Coordinator to join our team.
As a key member of the Office of Community Relations and Development team, the Development Data Coordinator is responsible for managing the system data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the database(s) and maintaining data input and output.
Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
- Maintain accurate and timely entry of constituent data, correspondence and related information into database, this includes importing data from other internal systems;
- Provide timely reports to team members and coordinate lists for communication distribution and organize data for letters/labels/name tags lists for department needs;
- Coordinate all event setups and registrations within internal systems;
- Collaborates closely with finance and IT to ensure systems and processes are followed and issues are proactively addressed or escalated as needed;
- Process donations and other funds collected through internal systems with respect to the work of the department (donations, event fees etc.)
- Responsible for building and continuously developing a reporting system (reports, dashboards and KPIs) for the department, to track results and allow team members to access and visualize the data;
- Illustrate data graphically and translate complex findings into easily understandable written text, reports, and presentations;
- Participate in identifying and analysis of trends to detect opportunities for new strategies;
- Monitor data integrity and donor trends and behaviours, data changes, constituent contact information, address accuracy, and the interrelationships of data.
- Participate in and provide support for events (sometimes beyond usual weekday business hours) as needed as a member of the Community Relations and Development Department, including functions related to philanthropy, alumni engagement, and community building;

What You Need:
We are inviting candidates with the following qualifications to apply:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Systems Management, Database Application or similar field;
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, including a strong command of pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis;
- Minimum 2 years experience using Raiser’s Edge or equivalent database;
- Experience in a not-for-profit, independent school or education sector an asset;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with high attention to detail;
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to excellence in internal client service;
- Highly developed problem-solving skills;
- Thrives on working in a fast pace environment where flexibility and adaptability is required;
- Willingness to be innovative and create efficiencies in current processes and procedures;
- Great analytical, organizational and people skills.
