MS/SS Associate Faculty Position - Math/Science Focus
Full-Time, 10-Month Contract
Commencing August 2026
The Country Day School (CDS) is currently seeking an Associate Faculty member for our Middle and Senior Schools with a focus in our Math and Science Departments. Applicants are required to have Ontario Teacher Certification (preferably, with Intermediate/Senior Math and/or Science qualifications), and some understanding of the independent school system will be considered an asset.
The curriculum at CDS is balanced, with extensive athletic, arts and extra-curricular programs. In addition to the relevant education and experience, candidates must be willing to become involved in all facets of school life.
The ideal candidate will be one whose teaching practice fully aligns with our academic vision to provide an intellectually challenging, diversified and balanced program that is learner-centred and delivered through a supportive and caring community dedicated to meeting the individual learning needs of all its students.
The successful candidate will join a highly professional and dedicated team of educators at a thriving independent school. This is a perfect entry-level position for a new teacher searching for their first full-time teaching position with an opportunity to gain experience working alongside more seasoned faculty.
Employment Details:
● Salary Range: $52,000 to $62,000 commensurate with experience.
● Pension: Participation in the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) when applicable.
● This position is for a vacancy commencing August 2026.
