We’re looking for a full-time Communication Technology Teacher to join our School, starting in August, 2026. Reporting to the Head of Upper School, you will create a positive educational climate for students to learn Communication Technology at the Intermediate/Senior level (Grade 10 to 12).

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Teaching Communication Technology TGJ4M, TGJ3M and TGJ20;
- Preparing, developing and implementing engaging lessons plans for students consistent with the Ministry of Education curriculum;
- Using a variety of teaching and support strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students;
- Incorporating a variety of visual aids, creative projects and technology to gain and enhance student involvement;
- Evaluating each student’s learning, understanding and performance through class work, assignments and tests;
- Maintaining effective communication with students, parents and faculty;
- Completing required record keeping such as student attendance, grades and report cards;
- Participating in extra-curricular coaching, co-curricular and supervision responsibilities.
What You’ll Need:
- Undergraduate degree in Communication Technology or equivalent.
- Bachelor of Education degree in Intermediate/Senior.
- Membership, in good standing, with the Ontario College of Teachers.
- Experience teaching senior level communication technology courses.
- Second teachable in History or Business would be an asset.
- A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion and demonstrated experience in embedding them in work with students, faculty, and the school community.
- Strong interpersonal, organization, communication, and time management skills.
- A commitment to continued professional growth and development.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to participate in the co-curricular programme and school community.
- Experience in an independent school setting would be considered an asset.

Compensation follows the School’s faculty salary grid and is based on education, additional qualifications, and years of direct teaching experience. The salary range will be based on our grid from $82,579 (for candidates with 5 years of teaching experience) to $130,158 (for those with 10 plus years of teaching experience).
