Salary range for this position: $90,000 - 125,000 depending on experience.

The Position:
The Director of Boarding works diligently to ensure that each Boarding School student is known, valued and cared for and works collaboratively with the Upper School Leadership and Student Support teams (Head of the US, Assistant Heads of US, Directors of Guidance, Manager of the Health Centre, Co-Curricular Directors, Chaplain and Social Worker) to create an engaging boarding environment where students have access to a breadth of opportunities in a community that prioritizes wellbeing, belonging and engagement.
The Director of Boarding oversees the progress and development of boarding students in Grades 9-12. They set the direction for the content and delivery of boarding programming, including boarding advisory programming, weekend programming, and other community-building events. The Director of Boarding plays a key role in upholding the Code of Conduct and expectations for Senior School boarding students, and in ensuring their care and safety on campus, in collaboration with the Food Services provider and the facilities and security teams.
The Director of Boarding reports directly to the Head of Upper School and is accountable for developing a safe, equitable and inclusive culture that aligns with Havergal’s mission and values.
The role requires the successful candidate to live in school-provided housing.
