We seek an individual inspired by our mission, whose beliefs align with our core values of integrity, inquiry, compassion and courage, and who reflects our core competencies to join our Upper School as an Assistant Head of Upper School, Senior Division beginning in August 2026. This is a full-time position.
Salary range: $120,000 to $160,000.The total compensation for this Assistant Head position is based on placement on the Havergal College faculty grid plus a $20,000 leadership stipend (included in the above salary range). Grid placement is determined by teaching qualifications and experience up to a maximum of 11 years, and is scheduled to increase for the 2026–2027 academic year. Final placement within the range is based on the successful candidate's credentials and years of experience.

The Position:
The Assistant Head of Upper School, Senior Division (AHU - Senior Division) works diligently to ensure that each Senior School student is known, valued and cared for and works collaboratively with the Upper School Leadership team (AHU - Middle Division, Director of Boarding, Directors of Guidance, Manager of the Health Centre and Co-Curricular Directors) to create an engaging school environment where students have access to a breadth of opportunities in a community that prioritizes wellbeing, belonging and engagement.
The AHU - Senior Division oversees the progress and development of students in Grades 9-12. They set the direction for the content and delivery of morning programming, including grade-based programming, the House program, and the Teacher Advisor program. The AHU - Senior Division plays a key role in upholding the Code of Conduct and expectations for Senior School students.
