Bayview Glen is currently looking for a full-time Associate Preschool Educator, starting in August, 2026. Reporting to the Preschool Director, you will support the delivery of a Reggio-inspired, inquiry-based program for children aged 18 months to 4 years.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the Lead Preschool Educator and teaching team with planning and implementing daily and weekly activities that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development
- Helping to design and maintain an engaging, aesthetically intentional classroom environment that supports child-led inquiry and fosters independence and creativity
- Participating in and leading age-appropriate experiences, including storytelling, music, art, planning of special events, outings, or guests, loose parts exploration, movement, and nature-based learning
- Building and maintaining strong, respectful partnerships with families through daily interactions, digital communication (Edsby, email), and participation in family events
- Collaborating actively with teaching partners and support staff in planning, reflection, and documentation
What You’ll Need:
- Registered Early Childhood Educator (R.E.C.E.) in good standing
- Post secondary education in Early Childhood Development or equivalent
- One to two years of experience working with children in the Early Years
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to adjust style to communicate to different audiences (i.e., children, parents, staff, etc.)
- Demonstrated creativity, flexibility and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of the children
- A passion for the intellectual, social and emotional development of children within this age group
- Ability to work independently with assigned tasks and collaboratively with classroom teachers and other staff members;
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming and engaging demeanor
- Excellent knowledge of child development and supervision principles and practices
- Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia philosophy considered an asset
- Valid child and infant First Aid/CPR certification
- Up to date Immunizations and new TB results

Compensation follows the School’s Preschool salary grid and is based on years of relevant experience. The annual salary ranges from $39,899 (for candidates with 1 year of experience) to $69,773 (for those with 11 or more years of experience).
