The Mabin School is a small, co-educational JK to Grade 6 progressive school with a strong commitment to inquiry, integration, and reflection. We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Executive and Administrative Assistant to join the school. This full-time position will report to the Principal and the Vice Principal – Finance and Operations. This is an integral role in the overall school operations and this person will be the first point of contact for parents, students and visitors.
SUMMARY OF POSITION

Required Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience working in an administrative capacity at a school
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Responsibilities
· Manage appointments for Principal
· Assist Principal as required
· Assist Leadership Team with Special Projects
· Report and Manage student arrival and dismissal
· Support Student meetings
· Support Finance Office with Data entry and reconciliation of credit
cards
· Maintain supply cupboard and other consumables
· Assist at all school events
· Coordinate & Invoice after school programs
· Organize Buses for field trips
· Assist Advancement/Alumni Relations with donation tax receipts
· OT/SLP Liaison
· Support “guest teachers” on arrival
Working Conditions
Working in a single office with an open space. The candidate must be able to multitask and work in an environment that is fast paced and prone to frequent interruptions. At times, the position will require working outside of regular business hours as needed to support the function of administrative tasks.
Salary Range:
Between $55,000-$62,000 depending on qualifications and experience
