An Unprecedented Campaign with Unprecedented Success
Branksome Hall is building on an extraordinary period of achievement. We are in the final stretch of one of the most successful fundraising campaigns ever undertaken by an all-girls school in Toronto—an ambitious, historic effort that has already secured the largest gifts in our 120-year history and has raised $41 million to date, exceeding our original goal by 36%.
As this campaign comes to a close, it positions Branksome for continued success, strengthening our momentum as we look ahead to future campaigns and continue to advance the school’s most important priorities.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, Campaign and Development, the Development Coordinator supports the development team in advancing fundraising priorities. You’ll support fundraising and donor engagement efforts across major, planned, and annual giving. This role supports database management, volunteer engagement, events, communications and stewardship.
Working closely with senior leaders, frontline fundraisers, and employees across the school, you will support the team in reaching advancement goals. Join the Development team in building relationships that make Branksome’s mission possible.
We are seeking a Coordinator to join our Advancement team at this exciting moment. This position is a contract role until June 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and schedule meetings to related to development objectives
- Administrative liaison for internal and external stakeholders related to prospecting and stewardship
- Maintain accurate records in Raiser’s Edge, including data entry, running standard reports, preparing spreadsheets, providing gift and tax receipts, and updating prospect pipeline accordingly
- Draft and deploy audience-specific correspondence to prospects, donors, and volunteers to support cultivation, solicitation and stewardship priorities
- Coordinate and gather materials related to major gift proposals, including briefing notes and solicitation packages, ensuring accuracy and alignment to fundraising priorities
- Main point of contact for fundraising volunteers, supporting with meeting preparation, tracking action items, resource allocation and communications
- Support related email deployment, donor follow up, gift designation and tracking, stewardship reporting, and payment details associated with annual giving and stewardship
- Prepare prospect reports and summaries as needed
- Contribute to planning and supporting advancement events, coordinating administrative logistics, tracking event interactions and donor engagement
- Collaborate with the Development Communications team on visual assets, fundraising campaigns and events, and logistics of video production needs
- Provide calendar management to the Director, Campaign and Development and support task timelines and reviews as needed
Candidate Profile:
- Post secondary training in a related field
- Graduate certificate in fundraising and experience in an educational institution is an asset
- 2 - 5 years related experience in an administrative capacity
- Experience working in an advancement or fundraising environment is preferred
- Experience working with Raiser’s Edge, Google Suite, Canva, Asana and Microsoft Office is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, effective team player
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and planning
- Professionalism, tact, diplomacy and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work with highly confidential information in a discrete manner

Target Hiring Range: $55,757.52 - $69,750.72
