Crescent School has been a leader in boys' education since 1913. Located on a beautiful, 37-acre campus in mid-Toronto, Crescent School has students in Grades 3 through 12 (Grades 1 - 12 as of September 2026).

Crescent School invites applications for the following position:
Before & After School Care Coordinator
(Monday - Friday, 2pm-6pm)
(September 3, 2026 - June 11, 2027)
Reporting to the Head of Lower School, you are responsible for supervising Lower School students (Grades 1-6) before and after school. You work collaboratively with a team of educational professionals, utilizing a variety of resources to engage students in developmentally appropriate activities before school begins and after classes have concluded.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supervises and monitors Lower School students registered in the program by designing and leading cooperative games and activities, supervising outside activities and engaging 1:1 with students
- Coordinates student attendance with faculty and coaches as necessary
- Communicates with parents and guardians regarding information such as absences and pick-up times
- Prepares the billing statements for the Business Office
- Supervises students as they meet their parents in the parking lot
- Assists with end-of-day dismissal in the parking lot
- Completes other duties as required
A successful candidate will have:
- Postsecondary education in Early Childhood Education or in a related field is preferred
- Ontario College of Teachers Certification will be considered an asset
- Experience working with children ages 6 – 12
- Passion, creativity, and commitment to the role, team and School mission
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to accept new perspectives
- Compassion, and a desire to cultivate courage and nurture connection
