The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced educator with Intermediate and Senior Science qualifications with previous science teaching experience who thrives in the challenge of teaching bright, highly motivated students to join our Science Department. Faculty at UTS lead students in embracing diverse perspectives and contributing towards our active schoolwide commitment to anti-racism, diversity and inclusion, ensuring all voices past and present are heard and valued.
This is a 100% FTE long term occasional position for an existing vacancy, starting September 2026 and ending June 2027. Candidates must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, and have:
- Intermediate/Senior Science Qualifications with preference for 2 of Biology, Physics or Chemistry as teachables
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience with previous Physics experience
- Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of the role of equity diversity and inclusion across curricular and co-curricular activities.

Target compensation range is from $80,000 to $120,000 depending on educational qualifications and years of teaching experience.
