Occasional Teaching Positions – Primary/Junior/Intermediate/Senior level
Bayview Glen is currently looking for Occasional Teachers at the Primary/Junior/Intermediate/Senior levels in all subject areas, including health and physical education, math and sciences and modern languages.
If you are someone who is dedicated to the development of the whole child, with a passion for teaching, then we would like to hear from you! You must be available to work on an on-call/as needed basis Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm or based on specified availability.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor of Education and a member, in good standing, with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
- Demonstrated student centered approach, prioritizing the learning, well-being and engagement of all students in the classroom
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to adjust style to communicate to different audiences (i.e., students, parents, staff, etc.)
- Demonstrated creativity, flexibility and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- A current Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) and First Aid/CPR Level C certification
