Compensation & Placement: Salary is determined by the HTS Faculty Salary Grid, ranging from $63,900 – $97,000 for Faculty with up to 5 years of experience and $84,100– $124,800 for those with 5+ years of teaching experience. Final placement is based on recognized teaching years, degrees, and Additional Qualifications (AQs)

About This Faculty Role:
HTS has an exciting LTO opportunity for an educator to join our team as a Student Success Coach for our Middle School ( August 2026 )
The Student Success Coach will work closely with the Department Head of the Student Success Coach team and the Middle School teachers to provide appropriate academic support for students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create and maintain the learning plans of all identified students
- Determine viable learning strategies for identified students and best ways to provide support
- Support the consistent implementation of accommodations and instructional needs across classrooms to meet student needs
- Develop personalized programs to support students after school
- Provide students and their families with information pertaining to learning differences, learning needs, and strategies used at HTS to support growth
- Assist teachers in implementing differentiated and personalized instruction and assessment to meet specific learning goals
- Collaborate with the Student Success Team to support students
- Collaborate with Admissions as they consider prospective students

What You Need:
We are inviting candidates with the following qualifications to apply:
- Ontario Teacher’s Certificate
- Having both Junior/intermediate qualifications is considered an asset
- Special Education Part 1 and 2
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Special Education and/or working with students with diverse learning needs in full-class, small-group, and one-on-one situations
- Experience reading psychoeducational assessments and writing student learning plans
- Experience with early intervention strategies and programming for literacy and math
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- The willingness and ability to collaborate and interact with students, parents, and teachers enthusiastically, patiently, and with discretion
- Experience working from both a Universal Design for Learning and DEI framework
