Math Teacher (Full-time, starting August 2026)
The ideal candidate for this position is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) who possesses the relevant experience and qualifications to teach senior mathematics (Grades 9-12). This individual will be filling a vacancy starting in August 2026 and is expected to bring expertise and innovation in math pedagogy, along with a strong commitment to student success.
Responsibilities include developing engaging lessons, conducting dynamic classes, and providing academic support, while maintaining detailed documentation for assessments and communication with students and parents. This role requires collaboration within a dynamic community and involves energy, creativity, and strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will employ effective teaching strategies, stay up to date on curricular trends, and be proficient in educational technology. They will also engage in co-curricular activities.
Compensation is based on the Trinity College School faculty grid. The salary range is $63,028-$87,790 for early-career professionals, advancing to $ 87,002-$121,101 for faculty with significant experience (6+ years). Initial placement on the grid is determined by a review of verified years of teaching and education, as well as Additional Qualifications (AQs).
