Teacher (Music and Mathematics or Science)
(Full-time, starting August 2026)
The ideal candidate for this position is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) with relevant experience and qualifications to teach senior music and courses in math or science (Grades 9-12), and will fill an expected vacancy beginning in August 2026. They will bring expertise in instrumental music education, ensemble direction, and contemporary digital music production, alongside strong skills in teaching math or science courses at the secondary school level. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, conducting classes, and providing academic support, while maintaining detailed documentation for assessments and communication with students and parents. This role requires collaboration within a dynamic community and involves energy, creativity, and strong organizational skills.
The successful candidate will employ effective teaching strategies, stay updated on curricular trends, and be proficient in educational technology. They will also engage in co-curricular activities.
Compensation is based on the Trinity College School faculty grid. The salary range is $63,028-$87,790 for early-career professionals, advancing to $ 87,002-$121,101 for faculty with significant experience (6+ years). Initial placement on the grid is determined by a review of verified years of teaching and education, as well as Additional Qualifications (AQs).
