About This Summer Camp Role:
HTS has an exciting summer opportunity to join our Summer Camp as our ABC Club Coordinator.
The ABC Club Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day planning and programming of ESL curriculum. Candidates must be able to:
- create and organize written and verbal lessons for English Language Learners aged 4 to 6
- prepare classroom and course materials for English Language Learners on a daily basis
- develop a supportive and positive classroom environment
What You Need:
We are inviting candidates with the following qualifications to apply:
- University or College level education (B.Ed recommended) or a current B.Ed teaching candidate. Applicants with an ECE degree and experience working in a Kindergarten setting will also be accepted.
- Previous ESL teaching experience and ESL - Part 1 (AQ) is preferable
- The ability to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese is considered an asset
- Experience in the targeted programming area
- Basic First Aid Certification; First Aid/CPR-AED, Vulnerable screening is required
- Highly energetic and enthusiastic
- Exceptional customer service focus
- Strong communication skills (oral), listening skills, ability to ask questions
- Independent decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Teamwork and cooperation
