Trinity College School is currently seeking an experienced Network & Cloud Systems Administrator. This is a full-time, permanent position within the School’s Information Technology Services Department.
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology Services, the Network Cloud and Systems Administrator is responsible for helping to manage and evolve the School’s multi-site, enterprise-class technology environment, supporting staff and students. The successful candidate will ensure secure and reliable access to critical systems, including Cisco networking, Fortinet security platforms, Google Workspace and Microsoft Windows servers across a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Cisco switches, routers, wireless access points and ISE
- Manage LAN/WAN connectivity and routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP)
- Maintain network diagrams and configuration backups
- Administer Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, IPS and web filtering
- Support Cisco Unified Communications, voicemail, SIP trunks and paging systems
- Manage Google Workspace for Education, security policies and SSO
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs and backups
- Monitor systems using Cisco ISE, Auvik, Google Admin and more
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades and new school construction
- Participate in long-term IT planning and EdTech support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years managing Cisco, Fortinet and Google Workspace environments
- K-12 education or multi-site environment experience preferred
Preferred Certifications
- CCNA (Required); CCNP preferred
- Fortinet NSE4+ preferred
- Google Workspace Admin/Collaboration Engineer preferred
- Microsoft Server certifications preferred
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ an asset
