Yeshiva Yesodei Hatorah (Non-CISO Member-School)

Central to the mission of Yeshiva Yesodei HaTorah is our openness to all the boys of our community. Whatever a child’s unique learning profile may be, we’re here to welcome him.

For many years, YYH has been a leader in accommodating the special needs of our community’s children. The umbrella of services that students access on-site include:

• Resource learning
• Government provided Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech pathology
• Kol Koreh, sponsored by the Maimonides Foundation, works proactively with Yesodei staff to ensure all children reach proficiency in English and Hebrew reading.
• The KCC Satelite Class at YYH began two years ago. It is a division of the Toronto organization that helps Jewish children with special needs to maximize their learning opportunities. Through this program, Yesodei Hatorah gives these children with special needs a home within a cheder environment. It not only benefits the KCC children, it also has an impact on the entire school as the YYH boys get to know these special students.
