Reporting to the Executive Director of Advancement, the Director of Enrolment Management and Admissions plays a key strategic and operational leadership role in advancing Ridley College’s mission and long-term sustainability.
Working closely with senior leadership and supported by a dedicated Admissions team, the Director is responsible for the School’s comprehensive enrolment strategy across all divisions, programme types and domestic and international markets. This includes recruitment, yield, retention and long-range planning, as well as stewardship of the admissions experience from inquiry through enrolment.
At both a strategic and operational level, the Director provides leadership in setting and achieving enrolment targets aligned with Ridley’s mission, values and institutional priorities. The role includes oversight of the Admissions operating budget and leadership of Ridley’s tuition assistance programme, balancing access, affordability and long-term enrolment health.
As a senior ambassador for the School, the Director builds strong relationships with prospective families, educational partners and external stakeholders locally and internationally. They work collaboratively across Development, Marketing and Communications, Athletics and academic leadership to support enrolment and student success.
As the ideal candidate, you are a respected and strategic enrolment leader with a proven track record of success in admissions and enrolment management within a complex educational environment. Colleagues describe you as a thoughtful, relationship-driven leader who combines analytical insight with sound judgment and a strong service orientation.
Credible, confident and collaborative, you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build trust with diverse constituents. Your experience leading teams, using data to inform decision-making, managing budgets and navigating international student recruitment and Canadian study permit processes is critical to success in this role.
Your ability to balance long-term strategy with operational excellence and to lead with integrity, care and purpose will serve you well in supporting Ridley’s mission and future.
You have a university degree (preferably in business, marketing, communications or education) and 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in admissions and enrolment management leadership, including senior-level responsibility for strategy, outcomes and people. Experience in an independent school environment, teaching experience and proficiency in an additional language are considered strong assets.

This existing vacancy is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $165,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits program and pension plan. This role is performance primarily on-site.
