Compensation & Placement: Salary is determined by the HTS Faculty Salary Grid, ranging from $63,900 – $97,000 for Faculty with up to 5 years of experience and $84,100– $124,800 for those with 5+ years of teaching experience. Final placement is based on recognized teaching years, degrees, and Additional Qualifications (AQs)

About This Faculty Role:
HTS has an exciting permanent opportunity as an educator to join our Middle School, Grades 6-8, as an English Teacher in August 2026.
The successful candidates will oversee the academic progress and personal growth of each student in their assigned courses, and be fully involved in co-curricular activities. The successful candidate will place importance on cultivating a love of learning in their mathematics classroom. HTS prides itself on its small class size and abundance of resources in the classroom.

What You Need:
We are inviting candidates with the following qualifications to apply:
- Ontario Teacher Certification with experience teaching junior / intermediate English
- The willingness and ability to collaborate with fellow teachers including interdisciplinary projects
- Deep knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and Growing Success Policies
- Knowledge of Ontario’s - 21st century competencies
- Willingness and enthusiasm for integrating technology into the learning environment
- Experience or expertise in learner-centered instructional approaches: Project-based learning, Design thinking or Challenge-based learning
- Experience with thinking classroom design would be considered an asset
- Experience integrating technology into the learning environment to enhance and augment the learning experience
- Experience working from a DEI framework
- Experience incorporating Artificial Intelligence meaningfully into your instructional practice and learning environment
