The Country Day School (CDS) is seeking an experienced, Ontario-certified teacher who is passionate about teaching Business. The ideal candidate will have certification to teach in Ontario and experience with numerous focus areas within Business Studies (Economics, Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Leadership, and International Business). Business specialist qualifications, familiarity with AP Economics, independent school experience and a number of years of teaching will be considered assets. Additionally, we are seeking a teacher whose practice embodies our principles of an expert teacher:

● monitors student learning and uses assessment to improve teaching and learning

● excels at the relational aspects of teaching
The curriculum at CDS is balanced with extensive athletic, arts and extra-curricular programs. In addition to the relevant education and experience, candidates must be willing to become involved in all facets of school life. The successful candidate will join an experienced and dedicated team of educators.
Employment Details:
● This position is for a vacancy commencing August 2026.
● Salary Range: $66,000 to $96,500 for less than 6 years of experience and $96,500 to $125,000 for 6 or more years of experience.
● Pension: Participation in the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) when applicable.
