Enrollment/Marketing Associate
Full-time Continuing Position

About RDS:
Established in 1995 and located in the heart of downtown Toronto, The Rosedale Day School (RDS) is an independent, co-educational school from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Accredited through CAIS, it is a diverse and multicultural learning community of students. The school’s learner-centric classrooms create inspired learners and leaders who are prepared to adapt confidently and engage responsibly in our changing world.
Compensation & Terms
This is a full-time, continuing position and the target salary range is between $65,000-$70,000 Placement within the range is determined by job-related skills, experience and education.
Hours of Work:
This is an on-site role requiring presence on campus five days per week from8:00 am - 4:00 pm (work hours may change or vary depending on the school’s needs)
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management, the Enrollment and Marketing Associate is an ambassador of the School and strengthens the community by building trusting relationships with students and families, helping create a robust enrollment funnel and ensuring long-term sustainability of the school. You’re a compelling storyteller; someone who can share the advantages of an RDS education with prospective families and with community partners. We are looking for a high-energy Enrolment and Marketing Associate who puts relationships first. In this role, you’re a brand ambassador who connects naturally with our community. You’ll pair a "get things done" attitude with the tact and diplomacy required to navigate a busy school environment. Key Responsibilities:
Enrollment
- Support an inclusive, transparent, and welcoming admissions experience for all families
- Assist with organizing student assessments, student visits and interviews in support of admissions decisions
- Support the enrollment process for both new and returning students including entering and tracking information in the school's admissions database
- Help plan and execute Admissions events including but not limited to school tours, open houses, on/off campus events and recruitment fairs
Marketing & Brand Support
- Develop & implement the school’s marketing and communications strategy
- Maintain consistency of the RDS brand across all channels digital, email, web, and print
- Align messaging with enrolment, development, and engagement priorities
- Identify opportunities to strengthen visibility among prospective families
- Ensure consistency and coherence across audience touchpoints
Campaign & Initiative Execution
- Execute integrated marketing and communications campaigns supporting admissions and school initiatives
- Support the development of audience-focused messaging and coordinate channel delivery across digital, email, web, and print
- Collaborate with admissions to support engagement and conversion activities
- Track campaign performance and share insights to support continuous improvement
- Coordinate communications for key seasonal initiatives and admissions events
Writing, Editing & Content Development
- Write, edit and produce engaging content across all platforms (social media, website, video and photography) that accurately reflect the school's values and student experience
- Translate institutional priorities into clear, audience-focused messaging
- Serve as an editorial gatekeeper for assigned content, ensuring accuracy, tone, and consistency
- Maintain high standards of writing quality across all communications
- Balance storytelling with strategic messaging needs
Digital, Print & Email Communications
- Update and maintain content across digital platforms, including the school website and portals
- Ensure digital content is engaging, current, accurate, and aligned with institutional messaging
- Coordinate production of the monthly school newsletter and key print publications
- Support execution of email marketing campaigns and audience segmentation
- Collate and monitor engagement metrics and flag opportunities for improvement
Distinguished Attributes and “DNA” of a Successful Candidate
- Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, English, or a related field (an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience in professional writing and communications will be considered)
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
- A “can do” attitude that enables you to manage a project from start to finish, working with internal and external constituent groups
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a proven ability to produce clear, accurate, audience-focused content across multiple formats and platforms
- Experience supporting or executing integrated marketing and communications campaigns
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and digital communications tools
- Ability to interpret basic performance data and apply insights to communications work
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in education or nonprofit environments is an asset
- Experience with Finalsite preferred; and
- Familiarity with the Google Apps Suite and Google Analytics would be an asset.
